zappoOops, my desk is empty, how did that happen? And what am I going to do now?
I know, celebrate our colleague becoming a doctor! We went to his disputation, almost all of Bergab, and got treated to a 3hr event incl. 2hr of interrogation. That's a LotR movie's worth of academia! Now he's hosting a mingle party here at the Bergab office, with drinks and stuff.
I can use drinks, news from Orust have been bad lately. Tomorrow I'm going up there and I dread a repeat of the other time I went up on a Saturday and was met by a bleeding mother. Brrr.
Still, that didn't stop me enjoying the first Xmas movie yesterday: "Die Hard". I skipped it last year so it was a happy rewatch. Such a classic!
But the one I watched the night before was really spectacularly bad, one I had forgotten I had bought: "Sherlock Holmes" from 2009. This one... oy. So bad it was hilarious, ahahaha! Gareth David-Lloyd was The Star, and Dominic Keating the sneering villain. I think the composer was the highest paid artist though.
